WPIAL sets semifinal sites
The WPIAL boys and girls basketball semifinals will be played Tuesday and Wednesday, and the league has announced sites for all games.
Most of the sites will play host to doubleheaders. But due to the possibility of large crowds, the WPIAL will play the Class AAAA boys semifinals as single games at different sites.
Here are the games and sites.
BOYS
CLASS AAAA
Wednesday - New Castle vs. Seneca Valley at Ambridge, 7 p.m.; North Allegheny vs. Hampton at Chartiers Valley, 7 p.m.
CLASS AAA
Tuesday - Chartiers Valley vs. Beaver at North Allegheny, 8 p.m.; Mars vs. Montour at Moon, 8 p.m.
CLASS AA
Wednesday -Burrell vs. Quaker Valley at North Allegheny, 6 p.m.; Beaver Falls vs. Apollo-Ridge at North Allegheny, 8 p.m.
CLASS A
Tuesday - Lincoln Park vs. Clairton at Keystone Oaks, 8 p.m.; Vincentian vs. North Catholic at North Hills, 8 p.m.
GIRLS
CLASS AAAA
Tuesday - Mt. Lebanon vs. Chartiers Valley at North Allegheny, 6 p.m.; Gateway vs. Bethel Park at Keystone Oaks, 6 p.m.
