Written by Jenn Menendez on .

Ron Crook, the tight ends and offensive tackles coach at Stanford since 2011, will be the offensive line coach at West Virginia according to multiple Post-Gazette sources.

Crook has been formally offered, and accepted the job, but will not be announced until the completion of the University's formal vetting process, said sources.

The position was vacated by Bill Bedenbaugh who took the same position at Oklahoma a week ago.

Crook has those coveted West Virginia ties, as he’s a native of Parkersburg, W.Va. and has had stops along the way at West Liberty, Cincinnati, Clarion, Glenville State, West Virginia Tech, Illinois, Harvard.
