Blackhawks - Bruins

-The Oilers hired Dallas Eakins as head coach. He becomes the 11th head coach in the franchise's NHL history and its fifth in the past six seasons. Eakins spent the past four seasons as the head coach of the Toronto Marlies, the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, and compiled a record of 157-114-41.
-EN Says: Eakins was one of the hotter coaching candidates available given his success at the AHL level. He played a role in developing young talents for the Maple Leafs such as Nazem Kadri, Jake Gardiner and James Reimer. He has the credentials to be an NHL coach but he faces a daunting task with the Oilers.
-Kings general manager Dean Lombardi wants to re-sign former Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi.
