Record: 12-15-1, 25 points. The Capitals are in 13th place in the Eastern Conference and fourth place in the Southeast Division.

Leading Scorer: Mike Ribeiro, 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists).

Last Game: 5-3 home win against the Sabres, Sunday. Troy Brouwer, Marcus Johansson (right) and Mathieu Perreault each had a goal and an assist for the Capitals.

Last Game against the Penguins: 5-2 road loss, Feb. 7. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin each had a goal and two assists for the Penguins.

Capitals Player We Would Bet Money On Scoring: Ribeiro. He has 24 points in 20 career games against the Penguins.

Probable goaltenders: Marc-Andre Fleury (15-5-0, 2.45 GAA, .909 SV%) for the Penguins. Braden Holtby (10-9-0, 2.97 GAA, .908 SV%) for the Capitals.

Injuries: For the Penguins, Matt Cooke (unknown) is questionable. Defenseman Kris Letang ("lower body") and center Evgeni Malkin ("upper-body") are out. For the Capitals, defenseman Tomas Kundratek (leg) is out. Defensemen John Erskine ("upper body"), Mike Green (groin) and Tom Poti (back) are on injured reserve.
