Penguins

-Lightning forward and former Penguin Ryan Malone worked out with some of his former teammates at Southpointe yesterday.

-The NHL and NHLPA are schedule to resume negotiations today.

-The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have struggled against the rival Hershey Bears this season.

-Dustin Jeffrey was held without a point for Medvescak Zagreb in a 2-0 win against EC Red Bull Salzburg in Austria's EBEL.

-Flyers forward Claude Giroux (right) will visit Dr. Frederick “Ted” Carrick, the same chiropractor Sidney Crosby consulted during his concussion issues, in Atlanta. Giroux is dealing with a neck injury he suffered while playing for Eisbaren Berlin of Germany's DEL.

-What will happen to Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum once the Islanders move out in 2015?

Southeast Division

-Hurricanes forward Chris Durno has joined Ritten/Renon or Italy's Serie A league.

Pacific Division

-Kings forward Kyle Clifford has joined the Ontario (Calif.) Reign, Los Angeles' ECHL affiliate.
