Wanted to drop a quick note to let you all know I will not be covering Duquesne this season, and will instead lead the Post-Gazette’s coverage on college hockey heading into the Frozen Four next April at Consol Energy Center.
As a longtime college hockey reporter before moving to Pittsburgh last year, the fit was a good one for me.
I'll be drumming up stories about Robert Morris hockey as well later this season, which is one of the hosts of tournament along with the Penguins and the City of Pittsburgh.
Things happen quickly in the news business, and this move was no exception.
Thank you - sincerely - for your interest in the blog and your participation.
You’ll be in great hands as Paul Zeise will be taking over the beat. He’s never short on opinions and will be a natural fit as most of you probably know.
I am as intrigued as you are how this team will shape up this season, who will be the point guard, what the lineup will look like and how Jim Ferry will fare in his first season on the bluff.
See you around the court sometime, I’m sure.
Again, thank you for reading.
