Dukefest will take place in the A.J. Palumbo Center, starting at 5:45 p.m.and will go for about two hours.

Radio commentator Ray Goss will be the emcee, and it will include, according to the Dukes:

* An autograph session

* Men’s and Women’s team introductions and 10 minutes of team drills for each

* Short speeches by Jim Ferry and Susie McConnell-Serio

* A 3-point competition with players from the men's and women's team along with some selected students

* And a performances by the pep band, dance team and cheerleaders

Sounds like the format is still being tweaked a bit, but this is the gist of it.

The men's team will have a full practice earlier in the day, break for "media day" at 5 p.m. then participate in the evening's activities.
