Dukes will face Georgetown

Duquesne will open the 2012 Legends Classic at Georgetown  Nov. 11, two days after opening the season at Albany

The Dukes will then host James Madison, North Dakota State and Youngstown State in a round robin subregional Nov. 19, 20, and 21, the school announced today.

The two teams last met in 1995 when the Hoyas beat the Dukes 88-86. The Dukes haven’t won at Georgetown since 1962.

Game times for each day of the subregional at the A.J. Palumbo Center will be 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.


The Dukes also released start times for its non-conference home games:

  • Maine, Dec. 1, 2  p.m.
  • New Orleans, Dec. 8 New Orleans 7 p.m.
  • West Virginia, Dec. 11, 7 p.m. (Consol Energy Center)
  • Western Michigan, Dec. 19, 7 p.m.

The Atlantic 10 schedule is expected to be released within the next month.
