T.J. McConnell honored by A-10
T.J. McConnell was named to the All-Atlantic 10 Third team on Monday, and the league’s All-Defensive team, as voted by the league's 14 coaches.
McConnell ranks No. 3 nationally with 2.8 steals per game and leads the A-10 in assist/turnover ratio: 2.1-to-1.
His 3-point shooting percentage ranks second in the A-10 at .447 and he is ranked third in assists with 5.5 per game.
The Dukes were scheduled to depart at 11 a.m. this morning for Massachusetts on a charter flight, just about an hour after the league awards were announced.
