Preseason poll: WVU at No. 8

West Virginia was picked to finish eighth in the Big 12 preseason media poll released on Thursday. The poll is voted on by media.

Oklahoma State was picked to win the league, followed by Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Baylor, Kansas State and Texas Tech.

Iowa State was picked to finish ninth after West Virginia, followed by Kansas at No. 10.

You'll notice six different teams earned first place votes.
