Houston running back Charles Sims will transfer to West Virginia according to multiple reports out of Texas.
Sims, who already graduated, would be eligible to play immediately and would add an intriguing layer of skill to one of the few positions on offense that returns some talent.
He rushed for 851 yards in nine games last year for the Cougars, then announced in May he planned to transfer.
His transfer was reported this afternoon by a Fox news station in Houston and the Houston Chronicle.
"I'm familiar with the offense and I just felt comfortable at West Virginia," Sims told Fox 26 in Houston. "I'm familiar with their schemes and what they have going...It feels real good to make this decision. It's the next step in my life. I just want to hurry up and get back to what I do."
There has been no official confirmation by West Virginia.
