Beer-drinker Gerrit Cole enjoys night out at Penguins game

Pirates ace Gerrit Cole, perhaps blowing off steam after a rough outing Monday against the Cubs, drew some attention during the Penguins' 3-2 win against the Capitals Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old from California appears to have quite the affection for hockey and all that comes with it, including beer. See, he's just like the rest of us.

Cole was seen heckling the Capitals before the game:

He was later seen on the big screen leading a "Let's go Pens" chant:

And finally, he was seen being told to calm down and, it appears, to stop banging on the curved glass boards by an usher:


Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was America. At least he seemed to take the talking-to in stride.
