Bennett should play against FSU

Written by Sam Werner on .

Just a quick update from Pitt's practice today. After practice, Panthers coach Paul Chryst said running back Isaac Bennett, who missed the last three weeks of practice with a leg injury, would be available tomorrow if the Panthers had a game.

So, extrapolating that, barring any significant setback, Bennett will be ready to go against Florida State. This is obviously huge news for the Panthers, whose running back situation looked pretty dire a week ago. I have also heard that freshman James Conner is expected to be ready to go against the Seminoles as well.
