-Happy 27th birthday to current Penguins goaltender Jeff Zatkoff (above). A free agent signing in the 2012 offseason, Zatkoff made his NHL debut with the Penguins this season. Appearing in 20 games, he had a 12-6-2 record with a 2.61 goals against average, a .912 save percentage and one shutout.

Kings - Rangers

-“I believe it’s gonna even out. And I believe we’re gonna win the next game.” - Rangers coach Alain Vigneault on trailing the series, 2-0.

-Kings forward Marian Gaborik will play in Madison Square Garden for the first time since the Rangers traded him at the 2013 trade deadline to the Blue Jackets.
