-A goal and an assist by Joe Corvo led the Senators past the Panthers, 4-2. Clarke MacArthur recorded two assists for Ottawa while teammate Craig Anderson made 30 saves. Brian Campbell netted a goal and an assist for Florida.

-Maple Leafs forward Tyler Bozak left last night's game against the Sharks due to an "upper-body" injury.

-With captain Henrik Zetterberg expected to be sidelined two weeks due to a back injury, the Red Wings recalled forward Cory Emmerton from Grand Rapids of the AHL.

-Filming of the Maple Leafs and Red Wings for HBO's "24/7" is about to begin.

-Lightning defenseman Eric Brewer is dealing with a "lower-body" injury.

-Tampa Bay forward Ryan Malone will be sidelined three to four weeks due to an ankle fracture.

Central Division

-Valeri Nichushkin each had a goal and an assist for the Stars who edged the Blackhawks, 4-3. Kari Lehtonen made a whopping 47 saves in the victory. Patrick Kane recorded two assists for Chicago.

-Dallas Antoine Roussell taunged Blackhawks fans after scoring the eventual game-winning goal on a penalty shot:

Pacific Division

-Antti Niemi made 28 saves for the Sharks in a 4-2 win against the Maple Leafs. Dan Boyle recorded two assists for San Jose.

-EN Says: The Kings jersey is basically a gray version of their jerseys from the late 1990s until the early 2010s. It's safe, inert and neutered. The Ducks jersey is a mess. It looks like one of those ugly winged foot D logos was just slapped on top of an old Flyers jersey. Getzlaf looks as if he's supposed to clean up a tanker truck spill in that ugly thing.

-The Kings recalled defenseman Jeff Schultz from Manchester of the AHL and assigned forward Tanner Pearson to Manchester.

-The NHL has reached a settlement with Wayne Gretzky over money owed him from his time as an executive with the Coyotes.

Adams Division

-Former Predators forward Ryan Thang has joined Byrnas of the Swedish Hockey League.
