Neapolitan Ice Cream Metropolitan Division

-An overtime goal by former Penguins captain Jaromir Jagr gave the Devils a 2-1 win against the Kings. Cory Schneider made 34 saves in the victory.

-Jagr's goal:

-Jagr scored his 121st career game-winning goal, equaling Gordie Howe’s NHL record, and 690th overall goal, equaling former Penguins teammate Mario Lemieux for ninth all-time. Fire Craig Patrick.

-“I tied him, but he played (497) less games than me. This is just a number. He didn’t play many games. If he would play as many games as I did, he would have 2,500 points and probably 900 goals.” -  Jagr on Lemieux.

-Kings mascot Bailey taunted New Jersey's Cory Schneider with "Jersey Shore" head cutouts:

-Los Angeles' Willie Mitchell got down low for this puck:

-Matt Read scored two goals for the Flyers who defeated the Sabres, 4-1. Sean Couturier and Steve Downie each recorded two assists for Philadelphia while teammate Ray Emery made 29 saves.

-Hurricanes forward Jeff Skinner returned to the lineup last night against the Red Wings after missing 11 games due to an "upper-body" injury.

Atlantic Division

-Gustav Nyquist scored two goals for the Red Wings who held off the Hurricanes, 4-3. Captain Henrik Zetterberg recorded three assists for Detroit while teammate Jonas Gustavsson made 24 saves. Andrej Sekera scored two goals for Carolina.

-Prior to the game, NHL executive and former Red Wings all-star forward Brendan Shanahan was honored for his recent induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame:

-Captain Jonathan Toews had a goal and three assists for the Blackhawks in a 6-3 defeat of the Jets. Former Penguin Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane each netted a goal and an assist for Chicago while teammate Brent Seabrook recorded three assists. Fire Ray Shero. Corey Crawford made 22 saves in the victory. Dustin Byfuglien and captain Andrew Ladd each recorded a goal and an assist for Winnipeg.

Pacific Division

-Two goals by Tommy Wingels helped the Sharks defeat the Lightning, 5-1. Patrick Marleau added a goal and two assists for San Jose while teammate Logan Couture recorded three assists. Antti Niemi made 36 saves.

-Sharks defenseman Brent Burns returned to the lineup after missing 13 games due to facial injuries

-Two goals by Jordan Eberle led the Oilers past the Panthers, 4-1. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins recorded three assists for Edmonton while teammate Taylor Hall added two assists. Devan Dubnyk made 24 saves in the victory.

-The Ducks acquired forward Tim Jackman from the Flames in exchange for a sixth round pick in 2014. Jackman, 32, is in the final year of a contract with a salary cap hit of $612,500. Jackman has appeared in 10 games this season, has one assist and 41 penalty minutes.

-EN Says: Jackman is a fourth-line energy player who is always willing to drop the gloves.

-The Flames recalled forward Blair Jones from Abbotsford of the AHL.

Norris Division

-Former Panthers/Blackhawks/Devils forward Rostislav Olesz has joined Bern of Switzerland's NLA.
