Penguins

-"I wouldn’t say 100%, but 99.9%,” he said. “I’ve had an unbelievable run.” - Former Penguins/Devils/Maple Leafs/Blackhawks/Predators/Coyotes forward Steve Sullivan (right) on if he has decided on retiring. Sullivan, 39, is currently an unrestricted free agent.

-Today would've been the 78th birthday of former Penguins and Pittsburgh Hornets forward Billy Harris. An all-star with the Maple Leafs, Harris was acquired by the Penguins in a trade which sent Bob Dillabough to the Oakland Seals early in the 1968-69 season. "Hinky" ended his 13-year NHL career by appearing in 54 games for the Penguins and scoring 20 points. Harris retired in the 1969 offseason. He passed away, Sept. 20, 2001.

-Former Oilers/Blackhawks forward Tony Salmelainen has joined HIFK of Finland's SM-liiga.

-Former Islanders/Senators/Blackhawks/Canadiens defenseman Chris Campoli has joined Lugano of Switzerland's NLA.

-Former Blue Jackets/Sharks/Blues forward Andrew Murray has joined Medvescak Zagreb of Russia's KHL.
