Fired Up Fitzgerald

Written by Rob Rogers on .

Allegheny County executive Rich Fitzgerald is on a tear! He is determined to have his hand in every agency under his purview. Heads have rolled to make that happen. I hope this is not just another example of a political ego cleaning house. I hope Fitzgerald plans to get good people and give them the freedom to work at least semi-independently.

Draconian Cuts

LCB Protesters

Written by Rob Rogers on .

I may have serious problems with Governor Tom Corbett on most issues (see some of my past cartoons) but I certainly agree with him that privatizing the LCB should be a priority for Pennsylvania. Under the current State Store system, consumers are being underserved when it comes to convenience, selection and price of alcoholic beverages. Most Pennsylvania Democrats and Republicans agree: it is time to end the LCB!
