The Pennsylvania House made a monumental leap out of the prohibition era when they passed a bill to privatize liquor. Sadly, the Pennsylvania Senate may have something to say about it.

Despite all the talk by Obama and others about stricter gun laws in the wake of the Newtown massacre, it looks like once again Congress won't have the courage to take on assault weapons. This is just sad.

It's been ten years since the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld hubris machine took the U.S. to war in Iraq for no good reason. Have these men, the ones responsible for 5000 dead Americans and hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis, been brought up on war crimes? No. Instead, W's brother Jeb is considering a presidential run. Gotta love America.
