Paving will close several Pittsburgh streets this week. The temporary closures will be possible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Central Lawrenceville, Chartiers City, Lincoln Place, New Homestead and Windgap.
Monday: Mooney Road from Mifflin Road to Beechland Street; Middletown Road from Youghiogheny Street to Chartiers Avenue; Belhurst Avenue from Haven Street to Warfle Street; Centralia Street from dead end to dead end; 45th Street from Penn Avenue to Hatfield Street.
Tuesday: 45th Street from Penn Avenue to Hatfield Street.
Wednesday: Chartiers Avenue from Mayfair Street to Middletown Road; Chartiers Avenue from Middletown Road to Oltman Street.
Thursday: Chartiers Avenue from Mayfair Street to Middletown Road; Chartiers Avenue from Middletown Road to Oltman Street.
Friday: Middletown Road from Youghiogheny Street to Chartiers Avenue.
Milling and resurfacing will cause alternating one-way traffic on Route 51 in Robinson and Coraopolis from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight starting at 6 p.m. between Vine Street and Forest Grove Road, through late September.
The ramp from inbound Route 28 to the inbound Parkway North will close overnight on weekdays through Sept. 10. Traffic will be detoured from 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. daily and some weekend restrictions are possible. The detour uses the East Ohio Street exit to the Interstate 279 south on-ramp.
