Another day, another distinction for PNC Park.
Yes, according to TIME, PNC Park is the most Instagrammed place in all of Pennsylvania.
Think about that. Not the stone steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art (aka "Rocky Steps"), not the Liberty Bell, or Gettysburg or Fallingwater or heck, even Heinz Field. No, it is our own PNC Park located on the North Shore.
We guess this shouldn't be a surprise — the park was named in July the best ballpark in the U.S. Not to mention if you're like me, you just can't help it but Instagram the park just about every time you make it to a ball game.
The data all comes from Instagram, who shared the information with TIME, mapping out the most frequently geo-tagged locations across all 50 states. While the data may be somewhat skewed (not all of the Instagram photos that tag PNC Park as the location are *of* the actual park), we'll still take the honor.
Other ballparks that took the top distinction in their respective states were Fenway Park in Massachusetts, Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Maryland, Kauffman Stadium in Missouri, Miller Park in Wisconsin, Comerica Park in Michigan, and Wrigley Field in Illinois.
In states like California and Florida, Disneyland and Disney World rule, respectively, whereas the Grand Canyon dominates Arizona and Yellowstone National Park is king in Wyoming.
While we still have a while to visit the photogenic ballpark, we leave yinz with these Instagram posts from the year:
