#SettingTheSEEN: Fit, Fearless and Fashionable!

Written by Natalie Bencivenga on .

This week on Setting the SEEN, Sara and I decide to stick to our New Year's resolutions of staying fit, conquering fears and looking fashionable in the process (with help from Dona Jo Fitwear and Kiya Tomlin Uptown Sweats).

We try our hand at indoor rock climbing at The Climbing Wall in Point Breeze. (I conquer a fear of heights, and Sara sticks to her fitness goals.) Whatever your resolutions are for 2015, we hope this inspires you to keep going!

#SEENonTV: Best of #LetsMakeASEEN

Written by Natalie Bencivenga on .

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I was on Pittsburgh Today Live this morning talking about some of the wonderful small non-profits that I have profiled for #LetsMakeASEEN. In this clip, I highlighted organizations that focus on vulnerable and invisible populations here in the city in the spirit of Dr. King's vision for a more just, peaceful and equitable future.

#SettingTheSEEN: Dance Party at the Carnegie Science Center

Written by Natalie Bencivenga on .

Tonight will be so much fun at the Carnegie Science Center. The 21+ Party Series is back! This week's theme is dance, and the Science Center has partnered with the Pittsburgh Ballet to liven up the event, teach workshops and learn the physics behind the moves. (I don't recommend, however, learning how to spin after enjoying a cocktail or two! Ballet first, then drinks haha!)

Enjoy the show, and until next time, we'll be seeing you!

#SettingtheSEEN: Chatham Baroque's Twelfth Night Gala

Written by Natalie Bencivenga on .

This week was so much fun! Thank you to Richard Parsakian of Eons Fashion Antique in Shadyside for providing the most fabulous #funearalchic inspired clothing! Why were Sara and I dressed in macabre fashion, you may wonder? We previewed Chatham Baroque's Twelfth Night Gala (which is tomorrow night! Get your tickets HERE.) as they honor the 300th anniversary of the death one of the arts' greatest patrons, Louis XIV. Enjoy the show! Until next time, we'll be seeing you!
