NYFW via Pittsburgh: Emy Mack Shoes return to the David Tlale runway

Written by Sara Bauknecht on .

NEW YORK -- South African fashion designer David Tlale enchanted audiences at his fall/winter 2015 runway show today at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center with a collection that was part strength, part softness and chic from head to toe. (Plus, it featured an appearance by supermodel Tyson Beckford!)

For another season, footwear by Emy Mack Shoes (pictured on models above; photo by Sara Bauknecht/Post-Gazette) -- which has its showroom in Shadyside -- complemented Mr. Tlale's elegant designs. Several styles from the collection were on display, including black patent stilletos, kitten heels, booties and knee-high boots.

Designer Emily "Emy Mack" Jamison was at the show and talked with Stylebook afterward about the collaboration -- and some exciting new things on the horizon. Keep your eye out for handbags (pictured at the bottom) from the brand coming soon, she said.
