For many high school students, it's the most magical night of the year -- prom time!

Weeks, even months, can go into deciding on the perfect dress, the perfect hair style, the perfect nails and more.  But some scammers are out to make some fast cash off all this excitement.

According to an NBC Today news report, websites claiming to sell designer gowns are targeting prom-bound teens.  They sell the dresses for hundreds of dollars, but when teens get them, they notice the poor quality.  Some gowns even start to fall apart after little wear.
