Rent the Runway is beefing up its loanable inventory of high-end fashion with a capsule collection by India native Bibhu Mohapatra. The six-dress collection weds vivid colors and fabrics with art deco-inspired structure and details.
"With Indian-inspired fashion emerging as a trend on the runways and Rent the Runway customers showing an increased affinity for vibrant colors and embellishments, this partnership was a natural fit," CEO and co-founder Jenn Hyman said in a release.
Dresses are available now for rent for four or eight days at www.renttherunway.com. Four-day rentals range from $200 to $400 for gowns that would retail for about $1,495 to $3,100. Costs are higher for eight-day rentals.
