Fox Chapel resident Lani Lazzari isn't the typical teen.

By age 11, she started her own line of all-natural face and body scrubs called Simple Sugars as an alternative to store-bought products, which irritate her sensitive eczema-prone skin. By the time she turned 18, the scrub had caught the attention of Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Allure magazines, and Lani had enjoyed a healthy number of TV and radio spots.

Now The Ellis School graduate is poised for primetime TV. March 29 she will appear on ABC's reality show "Shark Tank" as one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the show's history to pitch her product to its panel of wealthy investors.

“The whole thing was actually pretty awesome. I wasn’t nervous at all, definitely excited but not nervous," Lani said in a release.

Did "the sharks" bite? Tune in at 9 p.m. next week to find out!
