Watch out Target, Macy's, H&M and all the other mainstream stores that have made headlines with their big-name designer capsule collections. J.C. Penney is playing catch-up with its own slew of designer collections set to launch next month.
One of the latest designers to collaborate with the department store chain is Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, the dress line synonymous with red carpet glamour. For JCP, she'll create a prom collection called Pearl. It will feature a mix of short and long looks with Marchesa's signature softness and elegance.
Look for it starting March 1. It will retail for $50 to $250.
