Free seeds with Doug at Schenley Plaza Sunday 11am

Written by Doug Oster on .

I'll be in Schenley Plaza in Oakland, right across from the Cathedral of Learning Sunday 8/10/14 at 11 a.m. as part of the annual Garden Writers Association's annual symposium.

The garden writers are going to be putting on a show dancing to "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.

Feel free to join us, but if you don't feel like dancing, you can still get a packet of seeds.

Cheryl Goar from the Arizona Nurseryman's Association and Diane Blazek from All America Selections and the National Garden Bureau have a program called Plant Something. They will be giving away 500 FREE seed packets, first come, first serve.

They encouraging everyone to plant something and to think about being part of Plant a Row for the Hungry. PAR is a way for gardeners to help the hungry. Here's more information.
