Hydrangea macrophylla 'Doublicious' was planted in my garden last summer.

I saw it blooming at the nursery and was blown away by the flowers. I'd never seen anything like them on a hydrangea.

Not only are they beautiful and fragrant, the plant will keep putting them out sporadically though the season.

As long as the plant has plenty of moisture and a little fertilizer, the flowers should keep coming.

I'm a sucker for doubles and hydrangeas, so this plant is right in the middle of a prominent bed bordering the back patio.

I can't wait to see how long the plant flowers this season, we've certainly had enough rain to get it off to a good start.

Take some time and explore your favorite nurseries for something fun and different to grow like 'Doublicious.'
