Plant pansies in containers now for instant color; Gardening season starts today!

This is the time I plant some pansies in containers and keep them close to the house.

It's still cold out there, but pansies can take it. I've had pansies out in the garden all winter that are getting ready to bloom.

Pansies planted now should get plenty of water, some protection on a porch. It's wonderful to have some color right now.
