I'm so happy I've discovered anemone 'Queen Charlote.'

queen leftaIt's a mid-summer, sun loving perennial which can take just about anything nature can dish out.

It will even stand straight in part shade, which is where I grow it.

It's a great pollinator plant too as the bees can't get enough of it.

I bought mine locally at Hahn Nursery, but you should be able to find it at a garden center close to you or online.

The plant grows to about three feet and is filled with incredible purple flowers with yellow centers.

Planted in good garden soil amended with compost and it will last a lifetime in the garden.
