Sometimes you open up a catalog and there's one plant that starts you salivating like Pavlov's dogs.

The Terra Nova catalog came yesterday and when I saw coreopsis 'Cherry Lemonade,' that's just what happened.

It's an annual in our climate, hardy to zone 9, but the foliage and flower combination steals my heart away.

I've never grown a coreopsis as an annual that I can remember, so this might be interesting.

I think I'm going to fill a container with the plant and put it in my sunniest spot.

The catalog is filled with treasures and I'll be posting some of my favorites through the month.

Check out their web site for lots of interesting plants.
