Nature's artistic designs in a frozen greenhouse

Written by Doug Oster on .

Every year, when the weather is just right, the windows of my unheated greenhouse become nature's canvas.

When the sun starts to rise, the back lit windows come alive.

Each window is different, created arbitrarily by condensation and freezing. It's amazing to look close at each one and marvel and what's here.

Winter isn't the best time of the year for gardeners, but these frosted windows are one thing to make the days go by a little quicker.
