FINAL SCORE: North Allegheny 47, Seneca Valley 17

Mack Leftwich finished with 439 yards offense. He was 18 of 23 for 360 yards passing and ran 19 times for 79 yards.

NA outgained Seneca Valley, 514-295

9:59 p.m. - I don't know how this sits with Seneca, but NA went for it on fourth-and-5 and threw a pass. Mack Leftwich to Zach Lyon for TD. It's 47-17, with 1:30 left.

Woodland Hills leading Upper St. Clair, 35-14

FINAL: West Mifflin goes for two in overtime, makes it and defeats Central Valley, 36-35.

9:54 p.m. - Not that they have needed it, but North Allegheny has shown no signs of a running game with running backs tonight. It's Leftwich doing most of the damage.

FINAL SCORE: West Allegheny 24, Thomas Jefferson 7 - Bob Palko gets to try for title No. 6 next week.

FINAL SCORE: Clairton 37, Neshannock 7 - And Clairton ties state record for longest winning streak. 59 in a row.

FINAL SCORE: Washington 26, South Fayette 14

From Canadian Curt: Sto-Rox has defeated North Catholic, 34-20. Will be a rematch in WPIAL final. Clairton vs. Sto-Rox.

Central Valley and West Mifflin are going to overtime, tied 28-28.

FINAL SCORE: Aliquippa 56, Jeannette 0

West Allegheny leading Thomas Jefferson, 24-7, with two minutes left.

Clairton gets a field goal???? Wow. 30-yarder by Bryan Clifford and Bears lead Neshannock, 37-7

9:42 p.m. - Check this out: Mack Leftwich now has 434 yards offense. This is like Terrelle Pryor stuff. Leftwich is 17 of 20 passing for 355 yards and has rushed for 79 yards on 19 attempts. He has four TDs passing and two running.

9:39 p.m. - Take a wild guess what just happened again? Yep, Mack Leftwich another TD. This one on an 8-yard run. 40-17 NA early fourth.

Sto-Rox leads North Catholic, 27-20, in fourth.

End of third, Clairton leads Neshannock, 34-7. Bears will tie state record with 59th consecutive win.

Fourth TD for Shai McKenzie. This one from 7 yards and Washington has gone ahead of South Fayette, 26-14.

1-yard TD run by Derrick Fulmore and West Mifflin ties up Central Valley, 28-28.

Woodland Hills 28, Upper St. Clair 14 in third. Khalil Harper 31-yard TD reception from McClelland.

9:26 p.m. - Seneca Valley gets 4-yard TD pass from Brown to Jon Dorogy. Great diving catch by Dorogy. PAT good and it's 33-17 with 2:59 left in the third.

9:24 p.m. - OK. Seneca Valley showing some fight. Not going down easy. Long pass from Jordan Brown to T.J. Holl puts Raiders in good field position. They now are at 4-yard line.

Washington still leads South Fayette, 20-14, at end of third.

TJ's Joe Carroll has pass intercepted in end zone. West Allegheny still leads Thomas Jefferson, 21-7.

9:18 p.m. - Seneca Valley gets a stop on Leftwich to stop the second half.

Clairton gets safety. It's 28-7.

9:12 p.m. - Mack Leftwich just went over 300 yards passing for the night. He's now 13 of 15.

But do you ever wonder how good North Allegheny would be if Leftwich and lineman Pat Kugler didn't move into the area in the past few years? Not that NA did anything wrong. Just askin'

Devon Walker 5-yard TD run and Aliquippa blowing out Jeannette, 42-0. Mercy rule again for Quips.

Shai McKenzie 56-yard touchdown run and Washington has taken 20-14 lead on South Fayette with 8:57 left in third.

Robert Foster returns second-half kick 61 yards for TD and Central Valley goes ahead of West Mifflin, 28-21.

Morgan Lee catches 59-yard TD pass from Pete Coughlin and USC cuts Woodland Hills lead to 21-7. Lee is the cousin of Sean Lee.

8:43 p.m. - If this game was close Mack Leftwich might throw for 500 yards. But I wonder how much he will play in second half if North Allegheny continues to dominate.

Leftwich has been absolutely superd. He has 297 yards passing - IN THE FIRST HALF!!!!!! He has completed 12 of 14 for 297 and also has 52 yards rushing.

North Allegheny has 15 first downs and a whopping 379 total yards to six first downs and 135 yards for Seneca.

By the way, liking this Seneca Valley band, if you care to know.

Seneca Valley QB Jordan Brown is 4 of 10 for 44 yards and has 62 yards rushing. Forrest Barnes not doing much on the ground with 11 carries for 28 yards.

Special thanks to Steve Heckman and the NA stat crew. They do a terrific job.

Halftime: Clairton 26, Neshannock 7

Woodland Hills 21, Upper St. Clair 7

8:36 p.m. - Seneca Valley student section just started that chant that is popular in basketball.

"I believe that we will win, I believe that we will win, I believe that we will win."

Ahhhh, I believe not. It's 33-10.

8:35 p.m. - Seneca Valley gets in the end zone. Jordan Brown runs 57 yards for TD. Izenas with PAT and it's 33-10 with 1:22 left in half.

Armani Ford throws third TD pass and Clairton leads Neshannock, 26-7.

8:32 p.m. - If not with his arm, then with his legs. Mack Leftwich runs 15 yards for TD. But wait, did he do something wrong?? No way. He misfired on two-point conversion pass. It's 33-3 North Allegheny.  Leftwich has thrown for four TDs and ran for one.

Nick Halbedl second TD and West Allegheny leads Thomas Jefferson, 21-7.

8:28 p.m. - What does Leftwich have, like, 400 yards in the first half???? Just threw a 61-yard pass to put the ball at Seneca 27.

8:26 p.m. - North Allegheny DLineman Jeremy Gonzales making plays everywhere again. Kid is undersized at 215 pounds, but he is terrific. Beginning to think maybe, just maybe, he might belong on Fabulous 22. We'll see. That comes out Thanksgiving Day.

Neshannock scores. 49-yard TD pass from Ernie Burkes to Welker and Lancers cut Clairton lead to 20-6. I don't think it's Wes Welker, by the way.

8:24 - Poor Seneca Valley. Just no match for NA again. I didn't think Seneca would win, but I thought the Raiders could maybe keep it close and North Allegheny would pull away late in third quarter and fourth for maybe a 14- to 21-point win. Huh.

From Malik Vincent: Malik Shegog 30-yard TD run and Aliquippa leads Jeannette, 28-0. Another mercy rule game for Quips?

Randy Keener 3-yard TD run and Central Valley has tied West Mifflin, 21-21. That one sounds like a thriller.

8:21 p.m. - This is officially a blowout. And this Mack Leftwich is impressive - again. I know. Not surprising. Leftwich just threw his fourth TD pass of the night. "Easy" Elijah Zeise on the scoring end again. This one goes 63 yards. PAT no good and North Allegheny leads Seneca Valley, 27-3.

Andrew Koester throws a 56-yard TD pass to Zach Medved and West Allegheny leads Thomas Jefferson, 14-7.

Brumbaugh 23-yard TD pass to Pitt recruit Zach Challingsworth and South Fayette has tied Washington, 14-14.

Here come the Bears. Another rout? Ford 26-yard TD pass to Titus Howard, plus twotwo-pont conversion and it's 20-0 Clairton over Neshannock.

Dravon Henry 35-yard TD run and Aliquippa leads Jeannette, 22-0, with 5:12 left in second quarter.

8:14 p.m. - Mack Leftwich with three TD passes.

8:13 p.m. - And I thought Seneca Valley might have a chance to keep this one close. Nope. Mack Leftwich is tremendous. 27-yard TD pass to Gregg Garrity. PAT good and North Allegheny leads, 21-3, with 6:39 left in half.

From Nick T., Joe Carroll 47-yard TD pass to Zach Schademan. Thomas Jefferson ties West Allegheny, 7-7.

Davon Walker and Malik Shegog TD runs, Aliquippa leads Jeannette, 14-0, second quarter.

5-yard TD run by James Wheeler. West Mifflin leads Central Valley, 21-14.

Another USC fumble leads to Woodland Hills TD. Art Thompkins 25-yard TD run. 21-0 Woodland Hills. Surprising score. Last week Central Catholic four turnovers led to Upper St. Clair points. This week, three USC turnovers have led to Woodland Hills points.

8:07 p.m. - Seneca Valley in trouble. You can't get down 11 points against North Allegheny. One more TD this half and Seneca might be done.

Sto-Rox and North Catholic scoreless after first quarter.

From Scott Keenan: Aliquippa 8, Jeannette 0

Robert Foster 1-yard TD run. Central Valley and West Mifflin tied, 14-14.

From Craig Meyer: Brett Brumbaugh 1-yard TD sneak. South Fayette cuts Washington lead to 14-7 with 8:38 left in half.

Armani Ford 7-yard TD pass to Terrish Webb, Clairton leads Neshannock, 12-0.

8:01 p.m. - On third and seven, Mack Leftwich lofts a pass to a wide open Skylar Cox for a 9-yard TD. Jason Buchert PAT. North Allegheny 14, Seneca Valley 3 11:49 left in second quarter.

Neshannock hanging in against Clairton. Clairton leads 6-0 after first quarter.

Shai McKenzie 58-yard TD for Washington. Prexies lead South Fayette, 14-0.

West Allegheny leading Thomas Jefferson 7-0 after first quarter.

7:54 p.m. - Couple pass plays from Mack Leftwich and runs 16 yards for first dwon. North Allegheny now at Seneca Valley 12.

From Eric J. , Washington 7, South Fayette 0 on Shai McKenzie 8-yard TD run. South Fayette only five offensive plays first quarter so far.

From Ryan Riordan: Another USC special teams mistake. Bad punt snap gives Woodland Hills ball at 5. Woodland Hills scores and goes up 14-0.

7:47 p.m. - Seneca Valley moved inside the 10 but had to settle for 24-yard field goal from Chad Izenas.

7:43 p.m. - Seneca Valley moving the football. 27-yard pass puts ball at NA 40.

Woodland Hills 7, Upper St. Clair 0. DeQuan White 1-yard TD after Upper St. Clair fumbled opening kickoff.

Tyler Boyd 6-yard TD run to give Clairton 6-0 lead.

John George scores TD for Central Valley. Warriors and West Mifflin tied, 7-7.

West Mifflin takes opening kickoff for TD. Leads West Allegheny.

7:32 p.m. - And 12 seconds into game it's NA 7, SENCA VALLEY 0

First play from scrimmage, Elijah Zeise 64-yard TD pass from Mack Leftwich. Beats CB Jordan Brown. PAT good.

7:31 p.m. - Now that's a good way to try and defend NA. Use 12 guys. Seneca Valley penalized for it before first play.

7:30 p.m. - We are about to get underway.

Always like the atmosphere at Martorelli Stadium. One of the best places to watch a game. Love how it sits down in the valley. But have never been able to figure out who designed the dang press box. It's big. It's nice. But why open air? Couldn't they have put windowns in? Always a treat to try and type when you are basically outside in 30 degree weather.

OK, it's a reporters complaint. Sorry.

Just a note from another game. Colleague "Big" Brad Everett is covering the Clairton-Neshannock game. He says USA Today and New York Times are supposed to be covering the game. Seriously. Clairton needs one victory to tie the state record for the longest winning streak. Clairton has won 48 in a row.
