Class AAA and A all-state teams announced

Two WPIAL players were named state Class A and AAA players of the year, while a WPIAL coach was named AAA coach of the year.

The Associated Press released the Class A and AAA all-state teams today. The Class AA and AAAA teams will be announced in the next day or so.

The Class AAA player of the year is Hopewell's Rushel Shell and the Class A player of the year is Clairton's Tyler Boyd. The Class AAA coach of the year is Montour's Lou Cerro.

Here are the all-state teams (WPIAL players in bold face).
