This season didn't start off too well for Thomas Jefferson, as the Jaguars were blitzed by Cocoa, Fla., 43-7. But the losing doesn't happen often at Thomas Jefferson.

Over the past 10 years, only one other team in the entire state of Pennsylvania has won more games than Thomas Jefferson, coached by Bill Cherpak (pictured). Southern Columbia, a Class A school, has 114 wins (counting the first week of the season) while Thomas Jefferson has 113. TJ's record since 2001 is 113-13 while Southern Columbia is 114-16.

This information comes from Mike Hall's record book and the Pennsylvania Football News. Three other teams from the WPIAL are in the top 10 in wins over the past 10 seasons.

To see the top records since 2001, here is Hall's list. Remember, this counts the first week of this season.
