Three from Blackhawk make coaches all-state baseball team

Three players from Blackhawk High School have been selected to the Pennsylvania High School Baseball Coaches Association all-state team.

Pitcher Ben Rawding, second baseman Austin Wulf and outfielder Greg Weatherly were the Blackhawk players selected to the "Large School" team (Class AAAA-AAA). Overall, four WPIAL players were picked to the Large School team and four to the Small School team (Class AA and A).

Not to downgrade any of the players who are on the teams, but you have to wonder how these teams were picked? Some WPIAL players who had better years - statistically - and were taken in the Major League Baseball draft were not selected. Oh well, here are the teams:
