Seems North Carolina marketing whizzes scheduled the old parachutist game-ball bit for their opener with McNeese State this past weekend. Only problem: Cloudy skies almost caused a cancellation, then when it cleared up the fellas from Virginia -- Cavaliers or Hokies fans, to be sure -- mistakenly dropped into rival Duke's stadium, smack dab in the middle of the Blue Devils' pregame warmups.

Honest, we can't make up this stuff. (Kudos to fellow PG reporter/blogger Colin Dunlap for landing on this story for ol' Red Di.)
