BUFFALO, N.Y. — Good afternoon, folks. We're coming to you live from UB Stadium where we're just about two hours away from kickoff for Pitt vs. Buffalo. A couple of quick notes before we get started...

- Hubie Graham didn't make the trip with the team, so he'll be out once again today. I would expect J.P. Holtz to get the start once again, but it sounds like Drew Carswell could get some playing time after missing out last week.

- It doesn't sound good for linebacker Shane Gordon either. With him out, I'd expect Dan Mason to get the start at middle linebacker. We already knew that Manny Williams was out, so, once again, I'd think Todd Thomas will start at the weakside linebacker spot.

- There's a light to medium rain falling in Buffalo right now, and I'd expect it to continue at least on and off throughout the game. For you meteorologists out there, here's a look at the weather map right now:

- Here's a link to my preview from today's P-G, about how this series has been closer than you might think.
