Texas Coach Mack Brown talked this morning on the Big 12 Conference media call, and was awfully impressed by Geno Smith and his performance on Saturday.
Asked how the Longhorns will slow the Mountaineer attack?
Brown: "That's what we're trying to figure out today. They're just unbelievable.Geno's thrown 20 touchdowns and no interceptions. He's probably ahead of the curve that Robert Griffin set last year. He's got to be a leader for the Heisman (Trophy) and he just makes no mistakes.
"I think they may be as good as any offense I've ever seen."
If you didn't read in today's PG, here's a story breaking down the numbers on how Smith stacks up with RG3's numbers at this point last year.
Through four games last year:
Total yards: Griffin had 1,481. Smith has 1,826.
Completion percentage: Griffin had an 82.1 completion percentage, Smith's is 83.4 percent.
Touchdown/interceptions: Griffin 18-1. Smith 20-0.
