Holgorsen on Buie's hit

Written by Jenn Menendez on .

Who had a better hit on Saturday against Marshall?

Dana Holgorsen changed his vote to Andrew Buie - a 5-9, 188 pound running back – who he now gives a slight advantage to over K.J. Dillon, for one on special teams in front of the team's sideline.

Buie leveled a Marshall linebacker in pursuit of Geno Smith who was scrambling on second and long during the third quarter.

Holgorsen had the media room laughing when ended his weekly press conference with this gem:

“Buie’s was slightly better than K.J. Dillon’s (which) happened right in front of me,” said Holgorsen. “I got really, really excited when I saw that. Even showed emotion. It was awesome. Looking back on it, Buie’s was better. The ironic thing about it, it was the same defender. That (stinks), man. Poor kid.”

He's here all week, folks.
