Bill Stewart explains Jeremy Johnson coming back

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.

Well, it is pretty obvious West Virginia coach Bill Stewart wasn't very pleased with some of the reports that there could have been more to freshman quarterback Jeremy Johnson heading back to Texas than just a simple case of being homesick. Pay attention to this video, especially beginning around the 2:19 mark --- it is some "I'm-laying-the-law-down" stuff from Stew.

While I don't agree with Stewart that there was sensationalism (rather just reporters doing their job), I do kind of like this new harder-edged Stew. I like this fire he's been bringing to news conferences as of late; that is to say. he's been unafraid to throw a brushback pitch with a little more regularity. And, again, I like it. I like the new-fangled, breathing-a-little-more-fire-at-the-media Stew.
