Penguins

-Members of the NHLPA will begin voting on potentially decertifying today.
-Brad Thiessen made 31 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins who were shut out by the Syracuse Crunch, 4-0.
-The Penguins have lost five consecutive games, the longest such streak since John Hynes became head coach in 2010-11.
-An overtime goal and an assist by Luke Pither gave the Wheeling Nailers a 3-2 win against the Fort Wayne Komets. Andrew Hotham and Paul Crowder each also collected a goal and an assist for Wheeling while teammate Scott Darling made 16 saves.
Atlantic Division
-Devils defenseman Matt Corrente, currently assigned to Abany of the AHL, will miss the rest of the season following shoulder surgery.
-Dennis Veteri, the Flyers fan who attacked and injured a Rangers fan named Neal Auricchio following last season's Winter Classic, was sentenced to 11 1/2 to 23 months of house arrest which will be followed by five years of probation.
Northwest Division
-The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, have signed forward Michael Neal, brother of Penguins forward James Neal.
Norris Division
-Shootout goals by J.P. Labardo and Dane Fox gave the Erie Otters a 4-3 win against the Kitchener Rangers.
-A goal and an assist by Jeff Jones helped lead the Robert Morris men's team to a 3-2 win against Penn State.
-Kyle Cook scored two goals for the Mercyhurst men's team in a 3-1 win against Clarkson.
-Collin Brennan made 30 saves for the Johnstown Tomahawks who where shut out by the Jamestown Ironmen, 1-0.
-The Tomahawks' Teddy Bear Toss had some problems.
