-Canadiens forward Blake Geoffrion, currently assigned to Hamilton of the AHL, is expected to make a full recovery following skull surgery Friday night. Geoffrion suffered head injuries after striking his head off the ice following a check from Syracuse defenseman J.P. Cote.

Norris Division

-Adam Pelech had a goal and two assists for the Erie Otters who defeated the Oshawa Generals, 4-1.

-Max Gardiner recorded three assists for the Penn State men's team in a 5-1 defeat of Air Force.

-Rebecca Vint recorded five goals for the Robert Morris women's team which routed Penn State, 7-1.

-A goal and an assist by Andrew McDonald led the Johnstown Tomahawks past the Kalamazoo Wings, 4-1.

-During last night's game against California, Oregon called a play by using the Hartford Whalers' logo:
