Penguins

-The NHL cancelled another week of games. In addition to missing out on the first six games of their season, the Penguins have now had the following contests cancelled:
Oct. 25 - vs. Rangers
Oct. 26 - at Senators
Oct. 31 - at Capitals
-The NHL has lost a total of 135 games due to cancellations this season.

-Dustin Jeffrey recorded an assist for Medvescak Zagreb in a 5-0 win against TWK Innsbruck in the EBEL.
-Jeff Zatkoff made 23 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 4-2 loss to the Springfield Falcons. The Penguins will hold their home opener at Mohegan Sun Arena tonight against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers beginning at 7::05 p.m.
-Patrick Killeen made 24 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 4-2 loss to the Elmira Jackals. The Nailers face the Jackals on the road again tonight at 7:05 p.m.
Atlantic Division

Patrick Division
-Oscar Dansk made 37 saves for the Erie Otters who defeated the London Knights, 3-2, in a shootout.
-Nardo Nagtzaam had a goal and an assist for the Mercyhurst men's team which lost to Ferris State, 7-3.
-Matthew Skoff made 23 saves for the Penn State men's team in a 3-0 loss to Buffalo State.
-Kristen DiCiocco made 20 saves for the Robert Morris women's team which opened its season with a 2-0 defeat of Yale.
-Nicole Paniccia made 26 saves for the Penn State women's team which fell to Sacred Heart, 2-1.
-Amanda Makela made 24 saves for the Mercyhurst women's team which lost to Clarkson, 3-0.
-Collin Brennan made 32 saves for the Johnstown Tomahawks in a 3-2 shootout win against the Soo Eagles.
