-The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins demoted forwards Cody Chupp, Tom Kuhnhackl, Adam Payerl, Dominik Uher, Scott Zurevinski, goaltender Patrick Killeen and defenseman Reid McNeill to Wheeling of the ECHL. Forward Michael Neal, brother of James, was released from his professional tryout agreement.

-Evgeni Malkin had a goal for Metallurg Magnitogorsk which defeated Amur Khabarovsk, 3-0, in the KHL yesterday.

-When the NHL and NHLPA resume negotiations again Wednesday, secondary issues such as players safety are expected to be discussed.
Atlantic Division
-Flyers forward Tom Sestito has joined the Sheffield Steelers of England's EIHL for the duration of the lockout.
-“The way I look at it is I’m focusing more on having the right deal, not so much on how many games we’ll be able to play. We need the right deal so this doesn’t happen every five or six years. -Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg has joined Zug of Sweden's of Switzerland's NLA for the duration of the lockout.
-Detroit forward Drew Miller has joined the Braehead Clan of England's EIHL for the duration of the lockout.
-Blues forward Matt D'Agostini has joined SC Riessersee of Germany's 2nd Bundesliga for the duration of the lockout.
Pacific Division
-Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas (right) has joined HIFK of Finland's SM-liiga for the duration of the lockout.
-Coyotes forward Lauri Korpikoski has joined TPS of Finland's SM-liiga for the duration of the lockout.
Smythe Division
-Former Flyers/Coyotes forward Josh Gratton has joined Kuban Krasnodar of Russia's VHL.
