-Negotiations between the NHL and NHLPA broke off yesterday.

-The NHL claims it has lost $100 million by canceling the preseason.

-How screwed up is this lockout? They're arguing over hotel rooms.

Atlantic Division

Northeast Division

-Bruins captain/defenseman Zdeno Chara (right) and forward Patrice Bergeron have joined HC Lev Praha of Russia's KHL and HC Lugano of Switzerland's NLA respectively for the duration of the lockout.

-Boston forward David Krejci has joined HC Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga for the duration of the lockout.

-Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg has joined Adler Mannheim of Germany's DEL for the duration of the lockout.

Southeast Division

-Hurricanes forward Andreas Nodl has joined HC Innsbruck of Austria's EBEL for the duration of the lockout.

Central Division

-While he still recovers from a concussion suffered during the postseason, Blackhawks forward and former Penguin Marian Hossa is still permitted to work out at the team's facilities.

-Predators forward Craig Smith has joined KalPa of Finland's SM-liiga for the duration of the lockout.

-Nashville forward Patric Hornqvist has joined Red Ice of Switzerland's NLB for the duration of the lockout.

Northwest Division

-Avalanche captain/forward Gabriel Landeskog (right) has joined Djurgården of Sweden's Allsvenskan for the duration of the lockout.

-Colorado forward Matt Duchene has joined the Frolunda Indians of Sweden's Elitserien for the duration of the lockout.

-Oilers defenseman and former Penguin Corey Potter has joined the Vienna Capitals of Austria's EBEL for the duration of the lockout.

-“If the owners say they were going to make $100 million in the pre-season games and yet they say they’re ‘losing money,’ that’s a problem right there.” - Oilers forward Eric Belanger.

Pacific Division

-Dallas forward Jamie Benn has joined the Hamburg Freezers of Germany's DEL for the duration of the lockout.

-Stars forward Tom Wandell has joined Severstal Cherepovets of Russia's KHL for the duration of the lockout.
