Northeast Division

-The Sabres signed forward Joel Armia, a first-round pick in 2011, to a three-year entry-level contract.

Central Division

-The Blues re-signed assistant coaches Brad Shaw and Ray Bennett and hired Gary Agnew as an assistant coach.

Pacific Division

-With the season over, the ice at the Staples Center was melted. Dug out of center ice were three pennies. One from 2002, when team executive Luc Robitaille won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings. One from 2006, when the Indianapolis Colts - the favorite football team of the man who plays the Kings' mascot Bailey - won the Super Bowl. And one from 1893, the year the Stanley Cup was first awarded.

-The Stars signed forward Emil Molin, a fourth-round pick in 2011, to a three-year entry level contract.
