Playoff Stuff
Devils - Kings

-“That’s the reason why I left Atlanta. I had a good time, played a lot of minutes and scored a lot of points, but I was done by April every time. That’s when I decided it was time to move on. It was a little disappointing that I played there for 10 years and we never had a chance to accomplish our goal. Now I know I made the right decision." - New Jersey forward Ilya Kovalchuk on leaving the Thrashers and joining the Devils in 2010.

-Devils defenseman Henrik Tallinder was given medical clearance to resume practicing. He has been sidelined since Jan. 17 due to a blood clot in his leg.

-Assuming he plays, Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur will participate in his 200th career postseason contest in tomorrow's Game 1.

-Brodeur wants to come back next season even at age 40.

-"Mike Richards would run you over with his car to win a Stanley Cup. He’d visit you in the hospital after. So, I know what I’m dealing with there.” - Devils coach Peter DeBoer on Kings forward Mike Richards (right).

-"I bring it home and I'm like, 'What am I doing to do with this?'" - Kings governor Tim Leiweke on his team winning the Clarence Campbell Bowl.
