Russia wins IIHF World Championships; Malkin wins tournament MVP - 05-20-12

Russia defeated Slovakia, 6-2, today to claim the IIHF World Championships in Helsinki. Evgeni Malkin helped secure the win with an impressive goal:

Malkin led the tournament in scoring with 19 points (11 goals, eight assists) in 10 games and was named tournament MVP.
